I've been working out on and off for the past years, mostly for sports. But as I get older, and dont have the same amount of time for sports, I've noticed myself gaining weight and start seeing some flab.
I'm looking to get into a workout regimen that will allow me to gain strength, be fit and be flexible, as opposed to one where I get bulky and strong since I won't be needing it for sports. As an example, think the muscle type/structure of michael jordan or brad pitt (fit and lean, more squaring shape, though not necessarily as muscular as they if it ain't possible) rather than LL cool J (massive and strong, on the rounder shape).
I know the type of workouts and weights used influences how the formation of the muscles go, and would like to ask what type of training / workouts and sets should I be doing to achieve what I'm looking for.
I'm 6'1 and about 200lbs, just fyi.
Thanks
