Hi everybody...

here s the thing.. I can t stand anymore tuna cans or cottage cheese to have as last meal ,b4 going to sleep...
Now I m just drinkin some milk...
What else could I eat b4 sleep? something light and fat free...
is milk ok?

i usually eat a fruit before i go to bed.

yes milk is alright.
 
Here's something i just invented yesterday and its pretty good. Get some light vanilla yogurt and mix in a 1-2 tbsp of natural peanut butter. mix it up and enjoy. It's pretty tasty. Has some carbs in it, but i need something sweet before i go to bed.

Sugar free jello is also good. It wont help you meet any sort of nutritional or caloric goals, but it helps cure the sweet tooth
 
i just remembered another recipe i read in one of those fad diet cookbooks many years ago (i think it was South Beach or something).

1/2c low fat ricotta cheese
2tsp cocoa powder
splash of skim milk
some splenda to sweeten

mix them all together. it turns the consistancy of ice cream and its pretty tasty from what i remember.

should the last meal contein only proteins or also carb?
Plus, I ve heard fruit ain t good just b4 sleep...I think it is because it swollens up your stomach..is that correct?
 
as a general note, you want to eat something that digests slower to keep your metabolism going as long as possible while you are asleep. Fruit contains simple carbs which digest very quickly.
 
I eat two servings of cottage cheese and two cups of milk, sometimes a protein shake instead of the milk. I also eat some peanut butter, fish oil pills, and cheese. The reasoning behind the cheese is the saturated fat should help with testosterone production when my body is producing it most (sleep), right? I'm not sure, as I have no scientific basis for this whatsoever, but it can't hurt.. right?
 
^^^hmm i take it your bulking ^^^^ :p .. haha i used to have a peanut butter sandwhich on wheat bread and milk, but i didnt care then becuase I was bulking but it turned out good for me so i guess my body liked it lol. but dont eat what i ate cuz its full of carbs..
