early am workouts, a whey shake ot get protein in you fast...some fruit, and a small serving of oatmeal or a multigrain whole cereal with fiber.
about 60-90 mins before you workout so it can digest a bit.
not exactly. too many simple carbs causes a blood sugar spike, then a blood sugar crash, and if you crash during your workout, you'll feel like crap and the workout suffers (you probably won't even finish it, let alone finish it half-assed)
Usually it will be both, sometimes I also go for a swim in the evening, again what should I eat before that and should I have anything afterwards before bed?
