Salsa is very low in calories and very high in taste, but i just cant seem to find anything to do with it. I love chips and salsa, but it looks like that isnt an option anymore. Any help?
It's pretty good with eggs, I agree. I get tired of it after a while, though. It's also tasty with beans or pretty much any grain. Real good. Another thing I like to do is make a fajita or a burrito and pack in loads of salsa rather than cheese, sour cream or whatever other thing of that sort. Mmm, delicious.
Make a healthy bean dip that you can use with whole wheat tortilla shells... pour salsa all over that! One of my favs... I have to third the eggs... salsa on eggs is great.
Use salsa in the crock pot as a marinade too... I have come up with some great chicken and potato recipes with salsa in the crock pot.
