What Should I Do?

A question that i've had for some time now is that how big a difference should there be in calorie intake from Inseason to offseason. My question is how much should i decrease my calorie intake before my season and during my season. I play tennis in college by the way.

It depends on way too many things for me to give you a direct answer.

Weight training,
Hours of training per week,
muscle growth goals
fat loss goals,
time between training
age, hight, weight... etc...

You know, for some reason, it seems like minutia.

Just eat around around maint and don't worry about bulking or cutting. What you're trying to do is maintain during the season, and the focus of your training should be sports related.

Since you're asking something like this, I'll suggest Eric Cressey's "Ultimate Off-Season Training Manual."

I'm a tennis player in the off season right now. My goals now are to become more explosive and quick while still having endurance. I want to aim for about 8 or 9 percent body fat. I am 5'10'' and currently weigh 184+-a few pounds and around 12 percent body fat. I basically want to be explosive all over, fast movement all around but stay about the same weight. Just replace my fat with muscle. My maintenance calorie intake is about 2800-2900, my question is should i increase my calorie intake during the off season and then decrease it before the season and then finally stay in my maintenance zone during the season.

I disagree. Loweing your bodyfat to 8-9% would be optimal as speed / quickness will improve as strength to bodyweight ratios improve. The suggestion of Eric Cressey's Off Season Training Manual was great. Eric is brilliant. Todd Scott also offers great insight for tennis players.
