what should i do???

i'm 16, 6', and i weigh 135 pounds. i've been skinny all my life and i'd like to put on some muscle. i mainly would like to have some growth in my upper body and my calves. the problem is i just dont have a lot of knowledge about lifting and i only have access to a couple free weights because im currently going to a charter school. so if anyone could help me out and point out some exercises or something i'd appreciate it thanks.

oh man that is freaky... you just describe ME perfectly.

I'm 6'0 tall, 16 years old, and exactly 135 lbs. Except for the fact that you need to don't have the knowledge and i do... hehe

First of all, you gotta do personal research; you can't just come up in here and ask someone to explain it all to you; trust me, i tried.

You gotta avoid OVERTRAINING and FOCUSING on a certain muscle group. You gotta realize that the human body is a complex thing; it grows together as a whole; you can't just focus on the upper body and ignore the rest of your body. It doesn't work that way.

Press ups are perfect for working triceps, shoulders and pectorals.

Tricep Dips are perfect for triceps, upper back and shoulders.

If you have access to an ergo (rowing machine) then use one of them as they increase your cardiovascular fitness and significantly strengthen the legs. Make sure you are taught the correct technique as back injuries are possible.

If you don't have access to a rowing machine then invest in a decent pair of running shoes and do some running, possibly uphill.
