What Should I Buy

Well I ordered a karate gi from martialartsupply.com on Sep 27 and it still hasnt arrived. I contacted a week or so ago and said where is it. The email said that "it was shipped a few days ago and we are trying to locate the tracking number." I sent a reply and said "Well I give it two more days and then I am disputing the charge with my bank." I get another reply "That item was on backorder and shipped out the other day. The previous email was just a general response." I replied "Then you need to change your auto response from flat out lying, and I want my money back."

Long story short they have offered me another item of equal or lesser value for free. I just dont know what to get, the gi was only $30. Here is what I was thinking:













What do you think?
 
Ok, answer a few questions:

1. Do you have much need for weapons? Is your neighborhood that bad? Do you expect ninjas to be coming through your windows in the near future?
2. do you do weapons training?
3. Would you be able to use the ball in your house?
 
I would just get my money back, the only thing that would match the functionality of the gi would be the ball, but you can get that cheaper somewhere else. The "weapons" are for show and decoration. Their construct is weak. You can also get the same quality for a cheaper price elsewhere.
 
Unless of course you are only interested in the weapons for decorative purposes, in which case the Samurai Tanto would get my vote.
 
i agree with Lei, get ur money back.
i mean i know u want that sword like the ninja turtles have, but we have a kid, what if he gets his hands on it? yeah didnt think about that huh ? lol
plus cmon we dont need more decorations, we dont even have room for the ones we have now.

They are training weapons. They are not real. The weapons are made from foam and other harmless materials. Anyways, as for me I would go with the Militia Sword.

In your situation the Ninja sword would be cool. You can put the sword up high and tell your son that when he's tall enough or skilled enough to reach it like a true ninja, only then will you two fight to the death over the possesion of the most powerful weapon in the universe.
 
Dude if you get a training weapon as a freebe then its gonna be the most battered one they have. Its wont be nice enough to put on the wall.

If I were you I'd get another Gi top. Its always good to have a clean one as they will get skrewed washing it all the time.
 
Noone buy from this site. My gi has still not arrived and they say "Choose one or two items instead." Why would I do that if I cant even get the first one. I am going to my bank tomorrow to dispute the charges and will file a complaint with them on
 
Mate - Dont even bother. You'll only get your money back.
If you keep on pushing and pushing you'll get 2 or 3 Gis out of them for the price of one.

Ive had this in the past with MA stores, they all seem to be run by cowboys, But they get you your stuff in the end plus some extra bits.
