What is/was your college major?

I'm a biological sciences major and plan on going for physical therapy.
 
I had a double major of Math and Finance -finance because it was an easy fall back and math because it was fairly easy and I wanted to go into Engineering and build rocket ships :D though 1 semester in grad school as a rocket science major made me realize that I was indeed stupid and now work in systems IT :D
 
I'm a junior at the University of Hawaii. Just turned 29 this year so I'm a bit late in the school game. But I'm GONNA get it done!
 
I'm working towards a BA with a double major Law in Society program. We'll see how things go, but if all pans out... I'm going to try and head to law school after that.
 
I have an A.S in computer drafting and design... but am currently working on my B.S in Nutrition with a minor in Communication. I also plan on taking a course to become a fitness professional but that industry is more about experience from what I understand.
 
I have a B.A. in Communications/Film and had plans to go into film editing. For some reason they put me doing theatre publicity in grad school so my MFA in Drama & Communications ended up being much more specialized in theatre than film. And so . . . I’ve worked in theatre pretty much consistently for 19 years. Now I’m in administration, where the money is, but I’ve also taught, directed, written a little, and acted when they’d let me, lol. I’m lucky to have found such diversified (paying) work all these years. Highly unusual in my field.
 
Wow, I seem to be the first here to be at least close to doing what they went to school for...
Structural Engineering - I work for a Structural Steel Fabricator... well maybe it just sounds close because they both have "structural" in them :D
 
I have a BFA in Graphic Design. Worked for several years as a graphic designer... mostly in the publishing industry. Having that degree really came in handy one time when I was applying for a teaching job at a college out here. Ended up teaching graphic design for a couple years. Now I work in prepress, most of my time is in Photoshop making the pictures pretty. :sifone:
 
BA in English and Philosophy and an MA in Writing (not just creative writing i.e. poetry, prose, drama, but also non-fiction, reviewing etc).

Currently in my third year of a PhD in English. I have a fellowship, which means that I do a little teaching and they fund me for three years, so it's kind of like a job!
 
Oh yeah, I'm also back in school, going through the welding program. Not sure whether its to change careers, or to just have a better understanding of welding, but you never know. Right now I only take 1 class per semester, but I was doing 2 and 3 per for a while until I got the required lecture classes out of the way. Its a lot of fun, worth sacrificing my sleeping in on Saturday mornings for.
 
I am also late in the college game. I am a 28 year old Junior.


Dual majors in Accountancy and Computer Information Systems

I plan to get my MBA and CPA.

I want to do asset and wealth management. I would also love to be the CFO of a techie firm. The other option is Forensic Auditing (which would be awesome as well).

I am only a senior in High school, but next year i am going to be attending arizona state university to get a ba in graphic design.

at the moment, i have 3 jobs:

graphic designer for the sanfranciscian (a restraunt in walnut creek, CA)

graphic designer for George's hamburgers (a burger joint in the same place)

and a graphic designer for my dad's company, White labe

I am working on a social work diploma currently. My aim is to work with youth. I am already doing that working as a relief worker at a homeless youth shelter.
