What is the proper way to lose weight?

Hi there,

I stopped working out about 4 years ago and since then gained a considerable 20 pounds.

Can anyone recommend free weight loss blogs, reports that are not scams?

Most of the ones I have seen promise heaven with lies.

So far I only found this free report that talks about the benefits of some fruits and offers a superfood system.

There is a lot of very good free high quality information to be found online, however, ALL of these places offering free reports that require your personal information to download or read are scams, you are paying with your information which is valuable for marketers for low quality products providing either common knowledge or false information.

There is also several different method of loosing fat, all of them will work for some, but there is no one solution for everybody.

Diets are as individual and diverse as there are individual people.
 
Oh wow. You must be right. The forum even removed the link I signed up to, lol. If you have any good free info that you know of, I would definitely check it out.

A good start is to read many of the sticky posts here on the forum, many of those posts contain links to further high quality resources.

Most members spend the majority of their time in the diary section because keeping a journal of your food and exercise has been shown to assist with weight loss because it gives you an objective view of your eating and exercise habits allowing you to see where you need to make changes to be successful with the added benefit of having others be able to make suggestions as to what changes can be made.

Ask specific questions - just simply asking "how do I loose weight?" is a very broad question and without more information it is impossible to answer, by that we don't mean that we want info that will stop you from being anonymous but info relevant to your weight loss circumstances like medical conditions which may hinder weight loss or make some suggestions dangerous for you as an individual. other key base information includes data like weight, height, age, sex, current bodyfat % and allergies. what are you currently doing to loose fat so valid suggestions can be made as to what changes can be made for you as an individual.

Specific questions will often be answered with specific links to resources for further reading.

The biggest piece of advice to get the most out of the forum is to become part of the community.
 
Awesome. Thank you so much for your help. Thank God, I do not have any illness. What I do have is a lack of discipline when it comes to eat right and exercise. I will follow your food diary advise

Hi Carlos,
There is not magic bullet but I know by a testimony that a great detox program combined with a great nutrition will make you loose weigh in a healthy way and also will retain you result forever. That is what I did and a got great results, very important to detox, control stress and eat right
 
Detox programs are a scam and marketing myth, please provide your scientific proof if you truly believe in detox products.
