what is the best cardio?

What is the best cardio for maximum results? Stationary bike? Elliptical machine? Treadmill? Stairmaster?

Any information will be welcomed and appreciated.

well, I suppose it depends on what you mean by maximum results. I'll assume you mean most calories burnt. In terms of calories/hour, cross-country skiing is the most efficient with rowing being a close second. Of the equipment you've listed, the treadmill and stairmaster would be the best. The stair master will be much more effective if you don't use the handles to support any of your weight.
 
If you decide that you want to bicycle, a real bicycle and a training stand will give you a stationary bicycle, but you can also go bicycling outside. Plus, a real bicycle and a training stand are much lighter and easier to move around.
 
I would say the cross trainer with the strength setting on kicks the treadmill or the elliptical. Some people are more comfortable with some machines than others.
