Sport what if i consume a lot of protein and don't work out?

what will happen?

there will extended amounts of days (vacations) where i will not be able to workout. should i continue drinking protein drinks/high protein foods, or will i just waste the extra protein since i don't work out (aka "release" it all out and "waste" it)

Yeh can still take it if you want, youll be excreeting expensive urine :)
 
define "extended amounts of days of vacation".

if we're talking about a week, I'd keep up the protein intake.
If you're going on a longer vacation than that, you'll be compromising your goals. The extra protein will help, but your body will de-train itself if you're not working out.

it would be smarter to change your fitness routine to match your vacation...maybe no weight lifting, just bodyweight exercises, and increase your cardio.
