b) will keep you healthy
c) will keep you sane
It's HOW you eat, more than WHAT you eat, that determines whether you lose weight. In other words, eat less calories than you require to maintain, and you'll lose weight.
But, for some ideas. I like quinoa and amaranth to get more protein from my grains. Roasted cauliflower/broccoli/brussels sprouts are great. Turkey/chicken breasts. Substitute spaghetti squash for spaghetti. Fish is good. I love spinach, and you can add it to smoothies to get some greens in there. Frozen berries. Frozen veggies.
