I want to be semi-retired before I'm 40 and live in the sun somewhere like southern Italy or the Spanish coast (If it's not already over taken by Brits by then)

i wanna know what your dreams are

honestly, i have fulfilling dreams, realistic dreams, sensory dreams, and the occasional wet one.

last night i had a dream about going back to school and forgetting my lunch at home. :11doh:
i'd classify that dream as realistic

I grew up in London so it just seems normal to me, I've tried living outside of London but everywhere else seems slow and dull.
Most people I know who've moved here have said it's noisy, expensive, dangerous and overcrowded.

I wouldn't want to be anywhere else though :)

untill you changed your picture i always thought ccr was a chick :)

OMG!! I always thought CCR was a guy LOL

EDIT:wait, I just saw your stats..very funny!

My dreams change but I would love to retire with enough money to travel the world. 6 months in Europe 6 months in the States, every now and then go see exotic places like Africa, The Amazon, Egypt...

If it's the hustle and bustle that you love, you should visit NYC before anything else, there's not another city like it (exept for maybe London of course lol)

Yes, it would be expensive..but I've had a 401k since my early 20's and since I can't take it with me, I'm gonna spend every penny I can before I croak LOL!

Well, technically you can't take it out until retirement age...so I'll have to wait. I've borrowed against it though (I have to pay it back but it's to myself). I've used it for a couple of smaller trips in the states (I love to travel, I try to pick a new city every few months or so :) )

It's ok. I mean when you live there it's nothing out of the ordinary. It's not like what you see on TV. It's like any other big city though...and actually it's not that big, not like NYC anyway...It's def. congested, lots of cultural variety (which is good) and traffic is a travesty...

yh when ur used to it, its ordinary. whats the entertainment like there??
