Hello, Im a 31 yr old male, 5'10" and currently 189 lb's. Right now my daily routine is a bananna or apple about 9:00 am, maybe a can of tuna and another apple about 12 pm, a hand full of almounds about 3 pm, off work at 6 pm and straight home for 30min cardio on our treadmill (2.5 miles), baked chicken, grean beans, maybe some peas or something about 6 pm and sometimes another handful of almounds about 9 pm and bed about 10.
Sometimes Im able to do the cardio in the am. When im able to do this, I will drink a protein shake after the cardio as a breakfast. May also eat an apple or banana. Im about 2 months into this and Ive lost 25 lbs so far. I would really like to find some different foods, but im a very picky eater. Thanks you all for your help, Brian

I think you're not eating nearly enough.

At your weight, you should be getting around 1800-2000 calories per day - maybe even more to sustain the type and amount of exercise that you're doing.

The 25 lb loss in two months is fantastic...I mean who wouldnt want that as long as it was done safely.

But I think you need to work "somewhat normal eating habits" into your diet.

What I am trying to say is that you can't have this diet for ever and I think you are getting close to your goal. It doesn't look like your meals are properly balanced and this is where alot of people fail. I would suggest having more proteins and fats throught the day than mostly at sitting dinner.
More complex carbs for breakfast and lunch than the fruit that you are now eating.
Try to incorporate a normal diet into your present diet so the transfer to maintenance diet is as seamless as possible.

Thanks guys, Could I bother you all with some eating ideas ? I a very pickey eater. I love fruit and some vegetables. Ive tryed do eat a salad before and just cant do it. I like corn, beans, potatoes and few others. I like most meats. What exactly are comeplex carbs ? I do take a multi vitamin every morning, but I know I need other nutrients as well. What about subway ? I like a club sandwich with cheese only. Please help ? The eating part and support is why Im here. Thanks you so much
 
Sounds like you just want some menu ideas. I get in a rut alot too and when I do I actually google for healthy eating menus or, even though I hate the word, "diet menus". Also Spark People has menus also for free that I get ideas from. Read the stickies, google a BMR calculator and figure out how many calories you should be eating a day. Then you can get ideas like I said, look up the calories and plug it into your own menu. When I did this, I also started trying new recipes, new vegetables even. Also if you have a farmer's market or any farms that sell produce in your area I really recommend trying vegetables from there that you wouldn't normally eat. Fresh grown tastes SOOOoo different from the stores. It takes a bit of pre-planning and research to get a new menu but it's so worth it. Good luck :)
