Sport What do you think about my diet?

Here's an average day:

Multi grain Cheerios and light soy milk: 175 Cal

Pb & j on healthy fiber whole grain and natural peanut butter. Smuckers raspberry jam. Soy milk.

Greek yogurt and raspberry snack.

multi grain Cheerios and light soy milk: 175 Cal.

Celery snack.

Then something a little different every day, while watching my portions.

Is this okay for toning and maintaining my figure?

I'm 20 years old, female, 5'1 and 108 lbs. I have just lost 30 lbs.

Sounds like its really working for you. Primary diet killers are sauces and dressings in my opinion.

Hi all! I'm new to the forum.

There are so many threads about diets and meal plans... I decided to pick this one as I would like your opinion on my meals as well.
I'm 1m71 and 62 kg (5ft7 and 136lbs I guess?) and my goal is to lower my body fat percentage drastically. It's about 23% now and I would love to have it down to around 16-18% (I guess that's a good percentage for women?) + gain strength... really tone my muscles.

I have 6 meals a day, but I'm still not sure if I'm doing it right.

Here it goes (example):

Breakfast (7:00): oatmeal with berries, a banana and skim milk
10:00 / 10:30: fat free yoghurt with a bit of protein powder and pineapple
12:00/ 12:30: cucumber/ tomato/corn + bit of chicken filet and 2 slices of brown bread
15:00: oatmeal, cottage cheese and orange mixed together
18:00: just lean meat, veggies and 2 or 3 small potatoes
20:00/ 20:30: most of the time I'll have some fruit.. kiwi and berries or orange and kiwi...

Is this alright? I try to keep the portions small, but still I worry...

Btw I do weight lifting 3 to 4 times a week and cardio twice a week (trying out the TSC Heart of a Champion programme)

Thanks!

You need to eat more fruit and vegetables, as well as meat/fish. A grilled chicken breast with a salad would be far more beneficial to you than a bowl of cheerios. While your diet may be working for you, can you honestly see yourself eating this way in the long term? Maybe think about eating clean, i.e. no processed foods, lots of vegetables and fruit, whole grains, etc. This is healthy, and you will find yourself losing weight without even really trying. It's not easy, it's a real process. Ive been eating clean for over 2 months now. Although sometimes it can be a real struggle, I feel so much healthier and so much better! Hope that helps.

If you lost 30 lbs in this diet then it is working. Try to have some exercises too so it your diet is complimented. You should also try to eat "real" food. That kind of diet sound boring and you may lose of track of your eating habits.
