What do you guys know about No Xplode?

I was considering getting this because my friend has it, and he said it works great for him. My goals are to lower body fat (at around 10% ish now) and still put on muscle, would this be an appropriate supplement for me?

Nope. What is it about the product that your friend believes makes it 'work well for him'?

Cuz here's the scoop: its a retardedly overpriced supplement that doesn't have much benefit.
There's 3 main ingredients:
1. creatine malate
2. arginine (the NO)
3. caffine/taurine

well the creatine type they use isn't well studied or proven.
arginine has been studied and shown to NOT give you a performance, recovery, or muscle building benefit. it just gives you a fake 'pump'.
you can drink black coffee or take a no-doze if you want a caffine boost pre-workout

So in a nutshell for about 10% of the cost of a 30 serving tub of NO-Explode, you could have 3 months supply of creatine monohydrate, and no-doze.

Save your money. Realistically, for the natural, the only supplement that have proven to work are: Persistence in your calorie and macro nutrient manipulation, trusting your workout and adapting to feedback, and being consistent in all of the aforementioned work.

The pump you get from a workout, plays very little in your muscle hypertrophy, and this No Xplode attempts to expand on that, and its a complete waste of money.

The best thing you can do is work hard, eat right according to your goal, and educate yourself in what you are wanting to do.

I generally do not support a lot of supplements. But, there are a few that are worth your money (IMO):

Creatine Mono

Creatine Ethyl Ester

Fish oil

Flax oil

Multivitamin

Whey/Casiene Protein Powder.

Any hoot this is my rather brief opinion.

Best wishes

I agree with both the fellas above me. Your friend may look better at the end of tomorrow's workout, but in 6months when his wallets empty and you're bigger (even without a pump) you'll realize you made the right decision. Just jump on some regular creatine, fish oil, protein and a multivitamin. <~You can probably buy ALL of that for the same price as NoX.

Over time I have tried supplements merely to offer advice on them and see their effects on me. NO explode is one I did about 6 months ago. It gave a great pump post workout, and it gave me some energy. Within 2 weeks it was giving me the shakes after I took it and the effects of the pumps were not as good shortly beyond that. And even those were just visual.
It is expensive and it is not worth it. Save your money. Buy some creatine Mono and drink some coffee.

Would I be able to find Creatine, fishoil, and multivitamins just at my local GNC?

These are the 5 offered at my local wal-mart, Search results for creatine - Walmart -- which would be the most beneficial ?

Yes, NO products are only good for pumps in the gym - save the money.

Subjective thoughts about supplements aren't easy. I even find it hard to trust my own thoughts. Pubmed.com is my best friend. :)

Pfft... waste of cash like the guys said. If you want a pre-workout supplement that has ingredients which are actually backed by studies try MuscleSpeed... best one I've used so far.

No, it won't give u pumps, but the energy and focus is undeniable. BSN does NOT properly reference their ingredients, MuscleSpeeed does. (Refs: ) < Click on the "read about it" links for the studies.

Either that, or take 2 espresso shots along with a scoop of Vitargo Pre-workout (Another proven supplement) then some Creatine Monohydrate + Whey Protein post workout. Stay away from CEE... monohydrate has shown to be superior! (Ref: )

All of this should workout MUCH better than N.O Xplode.

Yeah, screw NO Xplode. I have a big meal before I lift, cruise to the coffee shop and grab a green tea for the bit of caffine and then hit the gym. works well for me.
