What do you eat before running?

I have been running lately at 5am, and going 3-5 miles. At this distance I can run on an empty stomach. I am just curious to see what you guys/gals eat before different distances.

3-5 miles: Morning - nothing, Afternoon - banana or pb sandwich
5-10 miles: banana and oatmeal or Clif bar
10 or more: banana and sandwich

What about you?
 
I run a few hours later than you do, typically @ 8am. Although my distances vary throughout the week, I eat fruit - the banana I'll have after running - and drink a cup of coffee before each run.

For distances greater than 10 miles, however, I'll carry gels and/or electrolyte drinks.
 
I would bonk if I tried to go 3 - 5 miles on an empty stomach. I have to eat about 30 minutes - 2 hours before a workout.
 
yeah i tend to have 2 eat before runs or I feel quite sick, but normally some fruit or if straight after a bike workout (im a triathlete) then I'll have sumthing on the bike normally
