What did or would you do

For your college graduation?

I'm trying to get some ideas on what to do. I already know where I'm having it.. It's going to be at a state park later this summer and I've rented a picnic shelter with tables and grill for eating. There is boating, camping, swimming, hiking, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes.. lots of fun for all ages.

But I'm wondering if there should be games for those who don't want to take part in the activities offered by the park and even what kind of decorations and things I should do.

I have a photo of me from my headstart (pre-school) graduation in my cap and gown and thought I might use that photo and place it next to a new photo of me in cap and gown now.. But I'm kinda stuck and need ideas.

Anybody got some? =) I'm all ears :bigear:
 
let's see - i got into a car accident with a drunk driver - thereby removing any possibility of ever having children... the driver -got a whopping 2 months in jail - of which he served 1 week...

Not something I'd suggest to others though...

Theme it on whatever your major was?
Or go for the joke - about the usefulness of come college majors and go with a fast food restaurant theme :D

That sucks, Mal. Sorry to hear you were in an accident that did that kind of damage to your body.

But I'm really digging your idea about the major theme and the balloon tosses etc. Hmmm. that's definitely something to think about.
 
I'd probably just take my friends to Vegas and go to Star Trek: The Experience- get smashed on some Romulan ale or a Klingon blood wine.. and then get them all assimilated by some Borg.

Somehow, I don't think that's helpful.

absolutely nothing, i didn't even go to graduation. i was going to have a party but then my dad decided to leave my mom and admit he'd be screwing around with another woman...so...it just didn't seem a festive time. i'm not bitter or anything...not at all...of course not.


if i were you and finances permitted, i'd probably go off to the beach somewhere with someone special and just take a vacation.
