i am trying so hard to lose weight for my health and to help with my depression and no matter how hard i try i cant seem to lose anything.

I go to the gym 5 days a week for around an hour - an hour and a half doing mostly cardio and some weights

I have cut down on how much fizzy drinks i have (usually 1 bottle a month as a little reward for not having anything in the time between) and i drink either sugar free juice or water.

i rarely get any fast food or take always, maybe once every couple months and i dont eat much junk like sweets or crisps and stuff anymore.

i currently weigh around 19 stone (266lbs) and i manage to get down to around 18 stone (252lbs) but somehow the weight keeps coming back.

i try to eat properly, i got rid of my deep fat fryer and i use the oven now to bake stuff. money is tight since i am out of work so i do not have the money to buy all that expensive stuff you see and that people say you got to have.

so i am coming to you all pretty much on my hands and knees begging for advice.

Sometimes it takes a while to get the weight loss process going. All you have to do is cut down calories by 200-300 and exercise.
Have a look at FitnessBender on youtube. They do full workout videos so you can do it along with the person in the video which is a huge motivation.
I hope this helps !

For myself I found that I had to get the depression under control before the weight would come off. I did use exercise with other therapies for the depression. It just took more time for weight loss. Don't give up. You will get there.
It also helps me to keep track of what I am eating and portion sizes. I found that I really distorted what a portion was.

There was a huge study about exercise being a treatment for depression. The easiest way to try and beat that hump is by reducing the amount of juice you drink and cut down on the fizzy drinks. Another really important factor is your intensity. You need to progress on your cardio by pushing harder then last time and slowly increasing the weights you've worked with.

Count your calories, just because you cut out fried foods and fast food doesn't mean that, that is the complete cure. A bunch of sites do it for you for free, or if you have a little bit of money to spare , weight watchers is awesome!

Just get pushing you will eventually get there!

Outside of what has been stated above one thing that I found to be very helpful is a gratitude journal and a vision board. These two items help me keep focused on the ultimate goal and the journey. I found that the book the Secret was very helpful in reprograming the way I think and approach things. Because it is 80% nutrition and 20% fitness and 100% mindset. Once you are in control of your mindset the sky is the limits.

Also, don't be so focused on the weight there are other signs that you are getting healthier. Are your clothes fitting looser, is your energy level increasing, can you walk for longer periods of time without getting tired.

Is your ultimate goal to just lose weight or be a more fit healthier person?

Every little bit helps!! Have you tried meditation to train your mindset? Positive attitude is so important. You can do it :)
