I was just looking at Defranco's article about his Westside for Skinny Bastards workout program (im probably gonna base my workout program off of it) but i just had a question.... for the max effort upper body workout on monday, it says that for the first exercise i should work up to a max set of 3-5 reps. What does that mean? i know what reps and sets are, but what does it mean to work up to a max set? Do i just do one set of 3-5 on a heavy weight, or do i do 3-4 sets of moderate then do 1 set of 3-5 reps on a heavy weight?
