Bacterial stomach infection=not my fault other than being not smart enough not to eat at a bar.
Laryngitis=well, not my fault for the kids doing stupid stuff and me having to yell at them because I love them.
Maybe I need higher test levels.
Nah not for laryngitis. I have teaching assistants that just talk for me. I do have enough sick time saved up to take off 17 days should I feel the need for a vacation though.

So I found the cure. I caught some kids cheating on their macro/micronutrition test today and started making an example out of them. As I got louder, my voice came back.
I'm cured.

Ah, you figured it out before I saw this, but I was gonna say I used to lose my voice when volunteering at a camp. Mostly from the camp-wide games. Yellin' at 400 kids at once for 6+ hours, it is hard on the pipes!
Anyway, eventually I discovered that if I just "screamed" everything, people could understand me. Didn't help that I sounded like Zoolander the whole week after, though.
