Been wanting to lose weight (trying and failing many times at least) for a few years, my boyfriend and I are making a go of it, so thought joining a community of fellow weight watchers ;) to hopefully keep motivated

Thanks but I'm trying very hard to lose weight with just exercise and healthy eating, got the healthy eating down :) just need to up the exercise

I'm on the same journey as you. Shopping, cooking and eating healthily and gradually adding more exercise. It will be a slow and long job for me, I have so much to lose. But, I know that taking it off slowly and sensibly, it won't go back on. My doctor has recommended, for a steady loss, no more than 2 lbs a week for me.
 
That's exactly what I'm trying to do too :) and I can definitely relate to having more than just a few pounds to lose as well, it's going to be a very looong journey but it'll be worth it in the end! Currently I'm doing a long walk once a week (around 2 hours and 30 mins) let me know what you're doing and how you get on :)

Have you tried partner yoga?! You can look up plenty of videos on YouTube ! Could be a really fun activity for a couple!

So I started a new job this week at a marketing company, doing door to door charities. I'll be honest, lately my eating has been a bit rubbish (whoops!) But since starting this job, I've lost 5lbs! Just got to get my eating together and it'll be smooth sailing ;) xxx
