Ww Support Team

I'm there with you. I'm a lifetime member and believe that getting on that scale at a WW meeting is a must, but I'm here to support you. Whatever plan works for you I also believe is what you should do. Even though I'm a lifetime member, I continue to struggle with between 5 and 10 pounds. I get it off, then I put it back on. It's turning into a hobby. I just wish I could get it off and keep it off. I makes me crazy sometimes. Of course, I also know that if I didn't have an issue with food, I would not be in this situation to begin with. It's nice to have a place to come and vent.

I did the flex program for years. I was always afraid I would overeat on Core, but I was sooooo wrong. Core really does work and it makes eating out easier.

NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS THIN FEELS.

Started yesterday! Weigh in was 210.6.

I'm really hoping to lose 2 lbs a week... it was kind of scary to me yesterday- because I had a lot of points left after dinner - I get 26, and I managed to eat 25, but I felt like I was overeating! Is that normal?

Yes that is very normal. You need to eat to lose weight. If you don't your body thinks you are starving it, and it will hang onto every calorie.

I think I need to add more dairy to my diet. So - that is what I will work on doing to up my points.

I think because I was dieting on my own before WW - I wasn't eating all of my points, and now that I'm counting points - I'm realizing I need more to eat!

I'm working hard on eating them all - but I don't want to add a daily big mac in to help me get my points - maybe a bigger salad, or some yogurt. Perhaps a bowl of high fiber cereal.

I'm also working toward lowering my chloresteral. It tested high about 2 months ago.

I am going to give this a try...I just found a whole bunch of WW cookbooks at my library I am going to use. They have the points for each meal listed. But can someone tell me how many points I can have each day?

I beleive you get 24 at 197 lbs. I get 26, and will be dropping once I hit 200.

If you have any questions - just let us know. I have some links to free calculators and such that may help you also.

I would love an online calorie counter, if you have one that's easy to use...I did find one, but there's one thing on it I can't figure out, and I don't see a help feature.

Try this one....

I used this before I signed up for WW on line. I recommend the e-tools there too - but you have to pay for them.

Today is my first weigh in (2nd) to where you will see if I lost weight or not!

I cheat, and weigh myself on the scale all week. I think I'm down 4.4 lbs!! I hope so!! I'm so excited to weigh in!!! It's not for another 90 min though, and I don't want to eat until I get back.

Good luck Jenny! I'm not sure where to weigh in here...they do have TOPS meetings, maybe they have a really good scale. I don't want to go to the meetings though:confused:

Thanks for the link, it's nice to have a list of foods with points already done. Doing the pointscounter is a pain:rolleyes:

Hi. I am a WWer too. I got off track though and am back on hopefully. I like the saying " Nothing tastes as good as thin feels" That's SOOOOOOOO true!
After eating something that you think tastes soooo good....I am often left feeling real CRAPPY and depressed!

One thing I don't like about WW is monitoring and counting. I have no troubles eating low fat and keeping an eye on calories but the constant worry of points makes me obsess over food in general and I get overwhelmed....am I alone?

No, you're not alone. I hate counting things. I'm going to do the points thing this week, to get a general idea of how I'm eating now, and what to cut back on. Then I'm only going to do it once in a while to make sure I'm on track. The only thing that broke me on my points yesterday was my pop intake, which I already knew was bad. So my eating habits are actually pretty good right now.

Have you guys tried core? Core is working really well with my friend Mindy who is in Vegas right now.

She lost 5 lbs in the first week.

You still have 35 flex points - but those are for things that are not on the list. Sometimes it's easier to follow a plan when you know what you can't have - rather than counting points.

Alright, I just officially joined the WW online...the points tracker they have is sooo easy to use! I'm going with the Flex plan right now, see how it works for me. I went way over today, but with my activity points I earned and I borrowed a few from my weekly extra points, I think I did alright. I'm already planning ahead for tomorrow, to get it down a few points.:)

How is everyone doing? I had my first week's weigh in yesterday (well, done at home:D ) I lost 2.5 pounds! I did pretty good over the week, points and activity wise, and I kicked it up a notch over the weekend. I'm so psyched!

Great job on the 2.5 lbs!! That's fabulous!!!!

Today is my weigh in - I haven't updated my ticker in a couple of weeks - I will update it once I get back at 11:30 - I peeked the scale this morning - and I'm praying that I'm at the weight it said I was at!

im joining the WW from home as well, i have personally gone through WW three yes i said THREE times., I actually decided on monday to start following the program again. i went to the grocery store and stocked up on all of the great diet WW foods. the great thing about WW is that it really does work, and once you get into the swing of things its not that hard.. that why i sit and wonder why i gave up those three times!! but thats ok everything is going to change now. just a heads up for those that like popcorn as much as i do you should by the 94% fat free in the snack size they are 1-2 points. and so filling!! also if anyone hasnt tried the smart ones in the Frozen section those are all pretty good too! I am more excited to do WW with you guys then go into the meetings because I always got myself so stressed right before a weigh in that in the end i think that is what hurt my weightloss!!! we can do it you guys!
