Weight training on an empty stomach

I've always done my cardio and weight training on the same day; 30 minutes of cardio first, then about 30 minutes of weight training. I've heard that it is more advantageous to do weight trainining first so that my cardio routine will burn maximum fat. Does it matter that I'm exercising first thing in the morning on an empty stomach? I read that the body burns "glycogen" as fuel during weight training. Do I have any gylcogen available if I haven't eaten in several hours? Please explain.

this depends on what your goals are. You won't be able to train as hard without eating because you won't have the energy to push yourself. Your body will also burn more muscle than normal without these stores, but, in theory, you will burn stored fat instead of readily available energy from breakfast ...
