Weight Training Injury Question

I injured my hand a week ago from boxing and it still isn't healed so I can't hold a dumbbell to do my standard weight routine. So anyways since then I've used 5 pound wrist weights and I'm doing about 3 sets of 60 reps, well depending on what body part but anyways, I was wondering since the basic idea is muscle tear, will this still help to actually build muscle and strength?

If you're working at that high rep range I guess it would be muscular endurance.

Thats not going to build muscle unfortunatly

To build muscle you need to work at a certain intensity.

Your better off letting your injury heal completely before resuming your routine. Use your recovery time to work on other aspects such as core strength, flexibility etc
