weight loss

height: 5'9 feet
weight: 160
frame: small
age: 15
body fat percentage: 20%?

If i go on a reasonable diet and jog 5mph for 45 minutes everyday except sunday, which is 6 days of cardio, and i weight train. What is a reasonable amount of pounds i should lose each week?

i was hoping for 3 pounds?

i believe around 3-5 at first b/c u will loss water weight then it will go down to 2-3 which is still good

1-2 average weekly would be healthiest, and you wont lose all your muscle lol. What is your weight training look like? because the amount of sets/reps will determine the body composition youll have in the end. If you wanted to spend less time running do a little research into HIIT, it takes around 20 minutes instead of 45 and it burns close to the same amount of calories.

And you gotta remember that diet is just as important as the excercise. I really would not recommend going too low when your 15 for the calories because your still growing and maturing, too low amounts of vitamins/mins now could hurt ya in the long run, make sure you take a good multivitamin and drink lots of water.

And remember its a marathon not a sprint, good luck to ya
