weight loss

i weight train every other day and i do cardio everyday of the week at 80% of my heart rate for 45 minutes consistantly.

I am hearing that i should be losing only 1 pound a week. But i lose 3 pounds a week. Is this healthy?

well, i have never heard that you should only lose 1 lb a week. Since every body is different, there is no set amount that one can lose and stay healthy. If you are getting your recommended daily calories and a decent amount of fat (10 - 15% minimum), that I would just continue what you are doing ... and, whatever it is, you are doing great.

Did you just start or have you been doing this for a while? I think you loose alot more weight when you start a new routine.

of course it's heathy as long as your not doing anything like to dramatically. Eveyone's bady is going to react differently to exercise so losing three pounds just means you're luckier then the person losing the 1 pound in my thought anyways.

I really do not think that "luck" has a factor in this. your gonna get out of it what you put in, like diet, and excercise, when used right you dont need luck.

Well, I certainly don't think you are exercising too much. So what are you eating throughout the day?

I didn't mean that the weight loss was just up to luck because I know you get out of it what you put in. I may have just choose the wrong word to describe it. But you are a lot more motivated then a lot of people. Just remember as long as you're not doing anything that is unhealthy to lose the weight you should be fine. And keep up the good progress.
