Weight loss with heart problem, is it safe?

Hi there, I decided last week to lose some extra pounds, but I'm worried that it might trigger my heart problem. I found out last month that I have high blood pressure which may worsen if I work out. Btw, I take my meds on a regular basis. Please tell me some useful tips and advice, it would really help me out. Thank you :)).

You would have to ask a qualified doctor, you don't want to find out it worsens your condition when it's too late.

While exercise can help, it's not completely necessary. You can make some changes to your diet, too. Reducing calories by not eating them is much easier than burning them with exercise.

You can try several things, Intermittent Fasting or eating several small meals a day (Whatever suits you better), counting calories, low carb or JUDDD (I.e: you alternate between a 'up' day and a 'down' day with low calories).

There is not only one way to lose weight. Experiment with different things and see what works for you and on which one you feel better.

Try walking, as well, preferably in the morning before eating. Still, walking after eating is better than not doing anything at all.

I hope that helps.

P.s: Merry Christmas! :)
