Sport Weight loss ideas! Pleeaase!!!

Sport Fitness
I wanna look great when I`m going in vacation in a month. Unfortunately, I need to lose weight a lot faster then I first thought. Although I have only about a month, I feel like can do it, but I need help. But how?

A new diet seems a good place to start. You can find many diet suggestions at . If you want my advice, I followed the grapefruit diet and I`m satisfied with the results so far. You should also count the calories you eat, and make sure you don’t eat more than you burn; the excess turns into fat. You`ll also find at the website above a calorie counter, carb counter, diet and fitness planner, weight charts, interesting articles, and losta friends!

Try Chris Shugart's Velocity Diet. The average weight loss is around 15-20lbs in 28 days. Be warned though...this diet aims to RIP the fat off of your body and it's not for the feint of heart. It'll take a stupendous amount of will-power and discipline to complete.

But is that really what anyone wants? your just going to add all that weight an dprobably more back. The adipose cells will remember you starving them of fatty acids and theyll get angry so its only a matter of time that they get there revenge and put all the weight back on.

Lets face of bare and blunt facts. If one were to follow this diet, and hypothetically lost fat tissue, the adipose tissue will only get angry if the person cannot--------control thy mouth.

And, this is one element in: Becoming Master of Self.

End......:)

Best wishes

Yes, but the bodies physiological adaptations will predispose that individual to failure. Adipocytes are an endocrine organ that secret many hormones, disrupt them violently with a harsh diet and you have next to no chance.

Bah, hum bug. Depends on the person. Let me have a crack at it......I already won.....done deal.

I am not advocating this diet.......but to underestimate the power of the mind, and the will to do it.......is a mistake. I dont care what kind of fat crap I had in the past.......if one wants it off and wants it to stay off......it comes off and stays off.......BUH....

Ha, ha......:)

OH!

ROCK ON!

(just messen with ya, but there is truth in what I am saying, man! :) )

I just posted it because it's another choice. Granted it takes an insane amount of discipline to not only stick it out for 28 days, but to continue to eat cleanly afterwards. If the person is able to stick it out and looses a significant amount of body fat and on the 29th day goes and has a Whopper value meal, then yeah they'll put it all back on.

diet + excercise + dedication = results

As others have already touched upon, the key to fat loss is to focus on the total calories you use throughout the day. Over time, you lose that fat by simply using more calories than you consume - in other words, you have to create a ' calorie deficit '.

And, to create that ' calorie deficit ' you can simply try to reduce your caloric intake, increase the calories you burn by being more active in general, increase the calories you burn by engaging in some sort of exercise - i.e sport, resistance training, cardio........ and or some combination of the four.

In your case, ' over time ' is 4 weeks. Can you drop enough fat in a healthy manner in just 4 weeks so you can transform yourself to " look great " - highly unlikely IMO.

Have you ever exercised before ?

How old are you ?

Exactly how much fat do you wan to lose in 4 weeks ?

Here's a few tips from my personal experience. I'm male, 18 years old, athletic. As a result of my sport plus diet I lost thirty pounds and went down to about 8%body fat in about four months, all while never being uncomfortably hungry.

I think dieting should involve a lifestyle change rather than simple self-denial. Your diet should empower you rather than hinder you and shouldn't be painful. You should be comfortable enough with your diet to want to continue it indefinitely. You don't need to be hungry all the time; rather, you should simply eat when you feel hungry and not eat when you're not hungry.

Work out six days per week with lifting and 30 minutes minimum of cardio daily. Tip: find a sport you like for the cardio - try running, rowing, biking, swmming, Dancing (ever play DDR?), tennis (singles), anything that elevates the heart rate and keeps it there...you should actually have fun with this and look forward to it every day.

Your diet is probably more important than the working out and will account for 70%+ of weight-loss. Eat low-calorie-density foods/fibrous foods - anything that fills you up witout a lot of calories. Foods such as oatmeal (sweeten it with honey, raisins, bananas), APPLES, chicken, vegetables, whole-wheat anything, non-creamy soups. Eat breakfast. COOK your dinner - home-cooked food tastes better and is always better for you - try ratatouille with a ton of vegetables, chili, mexican (go easy on the sour cream), chicken (not breaded), eggs, steak. Don't be afraid of carbs or fat...dinner is all about portion size.

Timing: eat your carbs during the day before your workout (dont be afraid of healthy carbohydrates) and emphasize protein afterwards. Reduce portion size at dinner (I find that a large glass of water or v8 vegetable juice with dinner helps you feel full), even if it means increasing portion sizes throughout the day to feel full.

If you are really serious about cutting the weight off, try walking or jogging for twenty minutes after dinner, in addition to your regular workout. In my experience, this both burns excess calories and boosts your metablolism while you sleep. When I did this, I would often wake up two or three pounds lighter than when I hit the pillow the night before.

Don't eat dessert after dinner - it lays on your stomach. Instead, have the sweets you like before your workout and burn those calories right off. Make sure to incorporate cheating days into your schedule. These are important for both the mental aspect (something to look forward to) and ensure that your body doesn't go into "starvation mode" and slow down your metabolism. On these days its always better to eat a huge breakfast and burn it off with a workout than to eat a huge dinner and have it turn to fat while you sleep.

I hope all this helps and excuse any inaccuracies...this is my own experience and may not work for everyone.
