Congratulations on your weight loss so far.

You have lost a reasonable proportion of your weight now. Do you have any loose skin already? I could certainly see the areas where I had loose skin when I had 40 or so pounds to go...

Although you are trying to lose a fair bit of weight - it is at a level where some people get away with none where others end up with some loose skin. It tends to be affected by a number of factors including age and genetics. Also whether or not you are losing weight at a healthy speed. I think that diet probably plays a factor too. I suspect that things like creaming may help...

If I were you and clearly concerned about it I would decide to lose the remaining weight at a healthy pace (no more than 1% per week), check fitday and ensure that you are getting a healthy spread of nutrients (e.g. healthy fats), and get some cream (I suspect that any cream will do since you tend to pay most for brand name and perfume contents and I suspect that it is actually the act of massage that is as much benefit as anything) and hope for the best. If the worst comes to the worst and you end up with loose skin you will be a whole lot healthier than when you were padding that skin with 100+ pounds of fat.

I am sure that you will be using exercise as a major part of your project. Continue with that - ensuring that you are incorporating ST. Check the exercise section.

Way to go with the weight loss! My experience when I lost 85 pounds was that the skin got especially loose and jiggly in a certain area right before that area "shrunk." When I reached my goal, I did not have hanging skin. I had a few areas that weren't as tight as I would have liked, but nothing that was obvious. I didn't start exercising until I lost the first 40 pounds. I really think the exercise is important to help your new body tone up. I also found that my skin continued to firm up over the course of the next year after the weight loss. Keep up the great work!!

after losing 5 stone myself i was left with a fair bit of lose skin, tried everything to get in tighter etc. In the end i thought long and hard and though why not fill the space back up - but with muscle. i then put on a stone of muscle and the skin is alot tighter everywhere. to also keep anything from slipping im am very strict with my diet etc, dont eat and polyunsaturated fats as this makes me feel ikky and my fat looser, and dont eat gluten or cows dairy.

it will obviously be different for you, but putting on the muscle was the best think i did, plus you look great!
