hi everyone i am new to this so here goes i am 24 years old and my height is 5'0 and my weight is somewhere around 275lbs.....i have only been heavy since about 99/00 when i got pregnant...before that i was about 160lbs having gained like 30lbs from quitting smoking my weight has never been an issue until last year i had put on another 30ish lbs to put me at 275 when i quit smoking again for the 2nd and i hope last(cant afford to gain anymore)i am usually stuck when gaining or losing weight as it takes alot to do both for me...and so last year i developed something called IIH or PTC(idiopatic intracranial hypertension you can google as its too long to explain)and papilldema(swelling of optic nerves causing blindness)thank god i have not had it that bad so i am good and recently found out i have plantar fasciitis(severe heel pain makes it harrrrrd to walk) any way all three conditions are cause by my weight so its all comes down to me losing at least half my size.....my family doctor does not want me to try surgery yet so i was wondering if any of you guys have any tips of me because when it comes to exercising i am a rookie and my money is limited so a gym is not an option right now.........if you are still reading this well....thanks for your time please if you can post some suggestions for me that would more helpful than you can even imagine

As far as exercise is concerned, walking is the best free exercise there is, but since walking is painful for you, how about swimming? The water takes the weight of your body, so there's no strain on your joints.
