Weight loss clothing?

Hey people,

I was just wondering if you guys had any experience or thoughts on those clothing pieces you can get to 'sweat more'? You can get them for different areas like 3/4 length pants to help reduce thighs/ass and bands that go around your hips and waist for those areas. I was thinking about getting the pants to wear under jeans or even in training because i have nice tone but these REALLY subborn 'pockets' of fat on the inner, upper thigh that WONT GO AWAY (arhghhhhhhhhhhhhh lol). So if anyone has worn anything like that or knows much about them before i go paying out that would be great. Thanks!

lol, i have some bad news for you! you can't sweat out fat :(
sweatsuits are like one of those wonderous inventions of the past that really have no value other than nostalgia =D

buuut, if u wanna lose weight to say.. make it into a fighting class.. then sure, go for it :)

it's also very difficult to just lose weight in one section of your body... you can target tone.. but target reducing is really next to impossible...

As someone else already said, you can't sweat fat off--though you can dehydrate yourself by sweating (and not replenishing the water) which makes it appear that you've lost weight (though you really haven't).

For workout clothing, there's some awesome new materials that are light and breathable so you can workout more efficiently and not get over-heated as easily. I suggest making sure whatever you get is lightweight, allows for maximum mobility, and is adjustable (ex- light pants with drawstrings rock). You'll feel more comfortable (and less self-conscious) while working out, and as you lose you will be able to hang onto your workout clothes a little longer as you can tighten them to fit (a useful thing as good workout clothes are not cheap).
