Hi! I hope Im posting this in the right section, but here is my question. Im 18 years old, 6'1 and currently 214 pounds. About 2 months ago I decided I wanted to lose weight and started at 245. I would say I have made some good progress so far. I did this through eating healthy and running daily on my treadmill. I also lift free weights from time to time. My question is, what are other things I can do at home to help me lost even faster. Im at a point where eating healthy is easy and running is easy. What are other things I can do with this every day to help me lose weight. Thanks in advance and I cant wait for your reply! Have a great day! ;)

sounds like you have it figured out. Muscle is your furnace for burning calories, so the more you can build, the more efficient your body will be at burning unwanted calories. It all comes down to burning more than you eat ... keep eating healthy (and keep the calories at a recommended level for your height & gender) and you are well on your way. Keep up the good work.

Like the guy above said creating muscle is the key.

If you do purely aerobic cardio switch it up and do anaerobic a couple days a week. You can google it to see if you dont know what it means. Also find a good sized hill to run and sprint up it (then WALK down) and repeat 10-12 times

You should also be doing more weight lifting exercises. Do exercises that work large muscle groups, you can do body weight or use dumbbell weights. Examples of this type of exercise would be lunges, pushups, squats, arm swings, bicycle crunches etc.

Good Luck 30 pounds in 2 months is very good. Its probably too much to be honest, your loses will start to slow but using these tips will help you

I suggest you increase the amount of your current workout/exercise so as not to let your body reach the comfort zone. Also, burn or use more calories than you eat.
