Hello everyone,

I'm 18 years old, im 5 foot 11 and 14 stone...I have a muscular build and I think losing 1.5 stone I would look great.

My aim is to get to 12.5 stone...I'm fairly active, I've been doing exercise (30 minutes skipping and weight training) everyday for a year ...but I haven't lost a pound...I stopped this "home training" and joined a gym for a month now.

On the treadmill I'll burn 600 calories running in about 45 minutes maximum, then I'll do everything else and weight train...So I think 700 calories minimum probably more. I do this three of four times a week. Initially I lost 0.5 of a stone very quickly, then it came back on in the period of a few days...and it comes and goes regularly, usually after I rest for a day...So I'm thinking water weight....but half a stone of water!?

My diet is breakfast in the morning (2 plain weetabix) and then dinner...I try to cut down the carbs in my dinner. Sometimes I will have a healthy sandwich for lunch after the gym.

My problem is snacking, despite being somewhat intelligent I am programmed to snack if the food is there and I live in an unhealthy household so the junk food is not leaving the house. My snacking varies from day to day from non existent to pretty bad. I just don't know what to do, it must be the snacking because I am working hard at the gym...But I don't know how to stop...

Noah

PS. I do get the "Youve lost alot of weight" but the scales arent shifting...and I notice changed in my body but maybe Im imagining...

PS. I am fit in that I can train with the rugby squad and join my running club and do just as well as the average dude...I just have obvious flab that needs to go.

weightloss and water

Definitely drinking water helps a lot to lose weight. If you can drink at least 8 glass of water a day, there can be nothing better than this. Apart from reducing weight, it will help you to get rid of pimples and make your face smoother. You can find more info from seeing these if you are a fitness lover, you should take a look at it ONCE.

You're 18 years old...the average 18 year old will have flab. I wouldn't stress over it too much. Just continue to do what you're doing and I'm sure you'll begin to look how you want to.

When I was 18, I was in really good shape. But, I still had baby fat on me. Don't sweat it. It'll go away.
