Weight gainers (lil help)

Hi im 6ft and weigh 11 stone 4 pounds, i want to try and put like another stone on me, so i can feel abit better in my self... and try have sum energy to play football... i bought n-large2 like 6 of months back because i searched for weight gainers it was top of all charts sites and it said it was best for hard to gain people like my self and i find it hard to eat alot on real food,
so i got it and it seemed to work but i wasnt doing any working out just drinking that 2 times a day i went up to 12 stone at one point but then i gave up on it all and went lazy anyways... i thinking of buying it again ive read up on weight gainers and n-large2 seems to come out the best.. do you guys no of a better one? that i could try or shall i give n-large 2ago again but this time do some running and some weight lifting this time to help it.

and i have skinny arms witch is so anoying and small hands... so im think ill buy some dumbells and start lifting :)

How old are you?

Ill start by saying weight gainers are usually a waste of money and not exactly the most healthy way to gain weight. You are better off eating healthy food to get calories.

You should definately do some sort of weight training if you want to gain mass. If you dont, you will gain mass in the form of fat, which isnt usually a desirable result.

As far as running and other cardio, this will burn more calories actually making it harder to gain weight. Thats not to say you shouldnt do it, there are plenty of health benefits to cardio, just keep it to a minimum.

Im 20.

I just dont know what to types of food eat though that could help put weight on, i need some kind of guide thats why i just go for these weight gainers because it easyier. any help for what food i should be eating? eggs,milk, all fat foods i guess :) mcdonalds lol. but thing im so fussy with food and dont eat much anyways. so its hard.

and weight lifting, i want to do my leg muscle, would that be done on a bench whitch you lie down and move legs up and down at the bottom, and also has weight lifting bar at the top.. sorry im useless weights and stuff :p ive seen them in stores online and they pretty cheap to buy.

1. to gain lean mass, you need a proper diet, and eat 6 times a day. McDonald's isn't gonna cut it.
2. quality of food must be good. You'll either need to suck it up and change your eating habits, regardless of whether is 'gross' or not.
3. to work legs, you need squats, deadlifts, and calf raises. holding the legs in the air during a bench press works your abs and hip flexors, and greatly decreases stability on the upper body.
