Weight gain after a workout?

Gosh so its been a long time since i worked out...I dont remember if its normal to gain weight after a workout? if so whats the cause?

I did pilates 2 days ago and am in some pain.. Gained 2 lbs since then..

not sure of the exact reason but the best time to weigh yourself is in the morning after you have been to the toilet. Im saying this because if you weigh yourself after you have had a meal or drank something you wont be getting a completely accurate weight. This could be the reason for the increase.
 
well unless you pigged out or something weight fluctuates a lot for its own reasons..water/sodium intake can be a big factor, as can the time of month for women..what matters is not your day to day weight but the general trend..so weigh yourself every week or every month and you'll notice in general it decreases if you're doing it right.
 
nope, sodium under control..everything else is alright..I guess i should stay off the scale.. It just makes me wonder why the numbers go up. I worked out yesterday and up another pound.. hmm
