Weight and Protein Supplements

Hi,

I was just wondering what weight gainers a person that is underweight (im 6'1 and 135 lbs), should buy to gain weight. Im looking to gain between 20-30 pounds. I have been going to Work Out World as of Wednesday. Any recommendations??
 
i don't like weight gainers, because its just protein and sugar. if you want a protein powder, great. but nothign beats real food for packing on solid muscle.

lots of oatmeal, brown rice, whole grain breads, pasta, and potatoes. aim for 6 meals a day, plus a post workout shake. hardgainers do better with 7 feedings, generally speaking.

That stuff has 1000 Calories in it per drink and 55G protien

Very good stuff for people trying to pack on some weight


Take it 3-4 times a day, or whatever you can handel...i recommend using a blender and mixing a banana with it so you dont get any stomach problems because digesting pure liqued 3-4 times a day like that will give you gas, the sh*ts and sometimes stomach aches.

Also someone told me to mix it with 250 ml of milk and 250 ml of water and this way you wont get any problems with it. I still have to try that out...also if you wana pack on weight get the Nitro T3pills (testosterone booster) from GNC (ask them about it first) this stuff will make you cranky a while your taking it but its all worth it. Good luck

If you drink 4 weight gainer shakes a day, you'll be able to crap through a screen door and not hit a wire.

Nitro T3 pills won't boost test. GNC played you for money, plain and simple.
 
Nitro T3 work great, sure it might not for anyone else because each body is difrent but you wont know till you try it yourself. as for the 4 drinks a day lol nice joke but if you do mix it up with fruits then your good
 
I'd rather eat 4 chicken breasts and 3 cups of rice with veggies.

1. I'll feel full
2. I'll get better nutrition
3. it'll be cheaper
4. the lack of sugar (from no weight gainer) means my teeth won't rot away.

Muscle juice is a good deal, but it lacks in carbs. I just bought my weight gainer about 3 hours ago, it's 2x as much money.... But has way more in it. Spent $50 canadian on 5 lbs of protein...

So far I like it...
 
Hey guys. I wound up going to bulknutrition.com and buying these two products for about 86 bucks. 10 pounds of 100% Whey Protein - Gold Standard and 8 pounds of Gainer Matrix. I will be eating healthy food and chugging this stuff about three-four times a day. Let me know what you think.
 
I wouldn't do more than 3 'liquid meals' a day. they'll lack fiber, and they just don't fill you up. make sure one is post workout.

and please, keep in mind, that a lot of people get ALL their protein and ALL their calories from whole foods...not a single protien shake a day, nor weight gainer powders.
those things exist for people who can't manage to do it all with whole food.

supps should be a helping hand, not a crutch.
