Weight-Loss Weighing Food

Weight-Loss
I don't know if I am actually allowed to ask this...so I apologise if I am not....but can any of you recommend some good food scales or are they all pretty much of a muchness?

Thanks

In a food scale I would definaelty recommend gong digital. A nice one will probably cost you between 20 and 30 dollars. There are some really hot one out there for over 70, but most of the extra features on these are just that, extras.

Look for a scale that looks easy to use, has a large digital readout, a high max weight, displays ounces and grams (the lower the better, .1 oz/1 grams is ideal), It really MUST have a tare feature (zeros out everything on the scale to zero, almost useless for cooking otherwise in my opinion), and auto-shutoff is also nice for saving batteries.

There are lots of good food scales on the market right now, but those are the features I would not buy one without, especially the increment of ounces and grams.

Good luck on your scale hunt.

Yeah, I got a nice glass digital one from Bed Bath & Beyond - don't remember the brand, but it wasn't one of the "BIGGEST LOSER" scales, and I'm quite happy with it. Was somewhere between $30-$40.

I picked up a digital scale at Walmart for $20, they go on sale quite often. I've had mine for 2 or 3 years I believe, haven't had to change the battery yet or anything.

I use this one its never caused a problem
