Hi all

Congratulations to everyone, I have been lurking on this board for some time and have done a couple of posts, great to read everyones success stories and keep those recipes coming its fantastic to get some new ideas.

Just wondering does anyone have the same problem as me, I have a very busy job during the week so I like to sleep on weekends, sometimes i dont get out of bed for breakfast until 10am or even later  as you can imagine with 5 hours break in between meals thats a very late day.

I have completed the program but have gone back onto it to lose the few kilos I gained whilst overseas, I do well during the week but the weekends just bugger me up totally.....I cant seem to shift these kilos. :(

Ive tried setting an alarm to wake me up at 7-8am have breakfast then go back to sleep but thats almost impossible on a full stomach.....if anyone has similar experiences I would love to hear about it and what they do.

Cheers

Sashie :D

I was thinking about this this morning, after I slept in!

I was wondering if it makes any difference if you eat the same type of protein, because then you are not mixing proteins.

But I think there are also issues of getting the blood sugars low enough to kick in the weight loss as well.

I think the main thing is that we eat the 3 meals a day, and if that means eating a bit later at night I still think thats a better option that skipping meals

I have my yoghurt already weighed, then I wake up early and grab my breaky and eat it in bed, then I kind of loll around for a bit before getting up. I don't have the roblem of lying around with a full stomache because I nedver feel really full anyway! Sorry, I haven't been much help...

Thanks for the replies much appreciated, I had my yoghurt at 10:30am this morning so yeah dinner for me tonight will be at 8:30 but like you said heavenlylamb if I get up to late I still need to have my three meals....I agree its better than skipping a meal.

I think I just have to wait is it 2 hours before I go to bed after my evening meal if its eaten after 9pm?

Hi

I sometimes have the same problem of late breakfast but I do the youghurt thing. I don't know where you are all from but in Australia at Woolworths supermarket you can get the Valia (I think that's how you spell it) natural yoghurt (which is allowed on the Cohen program) in 175g individual tubs. They are great for the quick (shit I slept in) breakfast or when you are away somewhere.
I also make sure I have my 3 meals even if it means having lunch at 4pm and tea at 9pm.

All the best.

LOL
