Waxing - Home or Professional?

For the people who get waxed, do you do it at home or go to a professional?

I have tried both. I prefer to go to a professional. It may be more expensive but the job is done right and there are other benefits.

I dont do the whole waxing thing but whenever I get the chance I pay ppl to do the things I dont want to do.

I dont wash my car, cut my hair, cut my grass or anything. It means it all gets done properly and I'm helpping to keep honest hard working people employed.

I'm totally like that too. I don't do any of that kind of work. I just pay other people to do it for me. Life is good...

I wash my own car I mow my own lawns I dont pay for S*** lol. But if you are like mr lewis then you dont have time because your always at the gym :D

Actually I'm only in the gym for a total of 4 hours a week. Most of my time is taken up round-house kicking people in the face and other house hold chores.

haha.. don't you fellas got the luxaries. I wash my own car.. cause I used to work at a car wash.. knowing how shietty of a job they can do.. mow my own lawn... I do home repairs/remodeling so my parents don't have to hire people to do it. I do everything myself that I am capable of doing. Simple reason.. I don't trust people. Yes people do have to earn a living.. but my sister got quoted on painting her bathroom for 300 US dollars. They bathroom is only maybe 9 by 5. I figure its best to learn this stuff young.. because when I get my own place.. labor and supplies are not going to get cheaper. I'm hooked on the DIY network now. I'm going to do my second ceramic tiling job ina week or so. I charge 2$ a sq ft.. home depot goes for what 5.65? To stay on topic though.. waxing yourself would be no fun.. I need someone to scream at when there ripping your hair out.

I bet you cut your own hair too.

When I'm back into training and little more cut up, I'm going down to the local beauty college for a massage and body wax.

Hey, people pay a lot more then £10 for 90 minutes with two 18 year olds right?

Am I a bad person...:p

Hell, I'd give it a go!!!

I do. Shave it every couple days.
something wrong with that?

:p

I certainly hope not, cause I take the clippers to my own hair every few weeks and break out the trimmers any time the back and sides look too shaggy. If you're going to keep it short why pay 10-15 bucks for something you can accomplish on your own in 5 minutes.

Yeah that is true. If you don't want to pay those exspensive prices at a professional spa, you could go to a local beauty school and get for free or super cheap.

im too scared to do the home kit, plus it doesnt cost that much to get it done around here, so i just go professional.
anyone try a bikini wax, i wanna do it, but im scared as hell. lol

I would like to get some waxing done, but I just never have. Always just shaved what I needed to. Waxing would probably save me some money in the razor blade department though...haha. I go through them like a crazy man...and those things get expensive quick. I got sensative skin so as soon as they start to get dull forget it or I'm gonna have knicks everywhere
