Water.

The first step I’ve made in my journey is cutting out soda and replacing it with water.

I didn’t like water at first but now I crave it.

I have dropped about 3 pounds so far.

Now, I’ve started a blog on my progress to keep myself accountable. NOT SELLING STUFF! I’m complying information mixed with my own personal progress.

If those who moderate the forum here approve my blog, I’ll share the link.

Thanks for reading.
AB.

Hey, that is great! Just cutting out sugary drinks can make a HUGE difference. You can keep your blog link in your profile (as long as you don't constantly direct people there). We just have to be consistent when it comes to links. If you stick around for a while, you may be able to include it in your signature, but that is usually reserved for very active members. I will take a look at your blog if you send me the link.

Will do. I work so much I’m only able to check in every few days. Thanks for replying.

Hey Aaron, sounds like you are getting things figured out. Once you are off the sugary drinks are there other dietary changes you are considering?

Same here! I used to drink a lot of soda and after about 2 months off of it I couldn’t be bothered less by not drinking it. Now I drink only water and really have no cravings for any other drinks

the more sinister part of soda, even diet soda, is the salt. the salt will keep you drinking and the sugar/ sweetener is actually there mostly to mask the salt.

a drink that makes you thirsty... how about that!
