Sport Water

Ok I was wondering how much water people drink for strength training?
And what you do to meet that goal?
Cause 8 glasses is hard to get in for me. (8 ounces= 1 glass i think)
I heard you should have 5 glasses of pure water a day 2.

I drink an 8 oz glass first thing in the morning. I have a 32oz glass, I drink at least two of these through my work day, I drink 32oz from my water bottle through my workout, and I drink another 32oz glass or two while watching TV or playing video games or whatever I do the rest of the evening. Sometimes I will replace a glass or two with Crystal Light or Sugar Free Koolaid.

Anyways, thats how much water I drink and I keep a glass beside bed and sometimes wake up thirsty throughout the night.

i take in a gallon of water a day at the least. i have a 16 ounce water bottle thats always with me and i have certain times of the day that i go refill it.

Wow, that seems like alot of water. I forgot to mention that I am 140lbs, 18yrs old, and lift 3 days a week.

I think I should get around 80oz of water. Not counting foods and other activities. This wouldn't leave alot of room for milk and other drinks though.

Right now im probably getting 20oz of pure water a day this would be a good explanation for my low back pain. Although, I have 3 glasses of milk a day.

In my opinion, one of the best investments you can make is a 32oz nalgene bottle. I found mine for 7 buck at Oshman's. Fill it up before work / school and take it with you. I drink about 64oz on strength training days and 96oz on cardio. They are also easy to clean and do not start to smell, like their imposters.

Nobody. That is crazy . Every hour your awake ab 9oz of water. lol
btw I found the cure for low back pain. in my other post.

Its not hard to drink a lot of water. I have a twenty oz bottle that I keep with me. I just sit at work and drink. I drink about six of these just in the 8 hours I am at work. I drink usually two during workouts and one or two during my 2.5 to 3 hour classes. Once you get started, it gets easier. I struggled to drink alot at first, but after awhile, I just drink at a nice pace and thats what it amounts to. Water is the most important body resource.

So what are the dietry/weight loss benefits to drinking loads of water? I hardly drink any, but I do drink a minimum of 12 cups of decaf tea a day. I do drink a bottle when im at the gym.
