Was this place hacked or what?

For a couple of hours any time I tried to log in to this place I was redirected to some url that tried to scan for "viruses" but would likely infect my pc with fake antispyware.

What happened? Un-patched vulnerability in VB?
 
The site has definitely been compromised and wants to load fitness.exe from the below url :-
 
They finally updated this place. It must have had tonnes of security holes and the bad guys were just placing booby traps all over the place left and right. If your computer gets infected with those things you could be in serious sh!t, and be forced to re-install your computer. :eek:
 
Some serious holes in VB reported a few days ago.

A serious flaw in software widely used to power online discussion sites could allow hackers to harvest reams of personal data, the BBC has learned.

The flaw in a specific version of the vBulletin software allows anyone to easily access the main administrator username and password for a site.

This would also allow hackers to access data, such as e-mail addresses, and edit the site at will.

The owner of the program - Internet Brands - released a fix on 21 July.

However, at time of writing, many sites remain vulnerable.
