Police: Woman accused of killing newborn ate brain

SAN ANTONIO – A woman charged with murdering her 3 1/2-week-old son used a knife and two swords to dismember the child and ate parts of his body, including his brain, before stabbing herself in the torso and slicing her own throat, police said Monday.

Totally her fault. I am always horrified when I see stories like this. Some poor innocent child being tortured, killed, or some other atrocity done to them. It's just so sick....

what gets me is how can the family have let her be around those kids alone KNOWING she had mental problems!!!????

and where the hell was the Department of Social Health and Welfare????? or CPS????
 
Brain is high in cholesterol. Only matters if you're a hyper-responder :)

And yeah, this kind of crap is sad and sickening. The problem with mental illness is so much of it can be easily controlled with medications. But when they go off the meds, its a rapid downhill slide into this kind of morbid chaos.
 
I would say I hope shes tortured and killed, but she took the easy way out.

I read a story not long ago about a woman and man going through a divorce and a nasty custody battle. The kids were 5 and 3 I believe. She threw them off of a bridge. The 5 yr old survived and tried her hardest to save her little brother. Unfortunately he didnt make it.

A person happened to hear splashing from his boat and came over and pulled them out. I think its a good time for waterboarding.

I saw that story too....I swear some people really shouldn't be allowed to have kids.......

Last night my hubby calls me over to the computer to point out yet another horror story of a NURSE who injected her baby with MORPHINE to get her husband to pay attention to her(that was her excuse)!!! Good grief! WTF??!!?? SHe did it TWICE before she killed the baby......
 
Two more stories on this (easy to google as they are recent).

A father got high on PCP and ate one of his 4 year old son's eyes, and damaged the other one so badly that it cannot be saved. he then stripped naked, chained himself to a tree, and started hacking at his leg with an axe.

And then a mother got high on meth and coke and ended up cutting her 9 month old son's genitals off, but told the police their little daschaund bit it off. the cuts were too clean to be a dog's teeth and the dog was not aggressive to police at all.

There's a special kind of hell for these people. However I think this sorta stuff warrants a grisly public execution. Instead you know they'll both go to a mental hospital for a while, and then maybe serve 10 years in prison before parole.

I'll do everyone a favor though, drop em off at my house and I'll put .45 ACP hydra-shok in the back of their heads, and leave em for the sanitation dept to pickup on Monday.

Sounds good to me! I have no tolerance for people like this.....
 
I really feel bad for her. Mental disorder will wreck havoc on a person and their relatives lives. The article does state that she had been "in and out" of a psychiatric ward. I have no clue what she suffered from postpartum depression and psychosis and other mental diseases exists which may partially explain what she did. In the end this is just a messed up story for everyone involved. May the child rest in peace.
 
That's disgusting. I don't care how mentally ill you are, you know what's right or wrong. I just hope in the end she gets some sort of help for her illness, but that's just seriously messed up. My question is where was the father in all this?
 
That was terrible the other day. I was thinking, that when the soccer mom was driving home drunk and high, when she impacted the other car, that didn't really kill everyone in the car, especially if the children were sitting in the back seat. They had to have burnt alive. That sounds even worst than this article.
