Sport Wanting to mod my diet for resistance & cardio training

Greetings,
I'm in the early stages of preparing for a 90 day resistance & cardio training schedule. As part of my routine, I'm looking to replace my current diet with a vegetarian (not necessarily vegan) diet. I would like this to include raw foods (either juiced, blended, steamed or raw) and meal replacements such as shakeology, ViSalus, Ultimate Life, Garden of Life RAW meal, Boku, etc. I want to keep the diet very simple, yet balanced for the needs of a full body work out program. I'm concerned about protein and a balanced diet.

My goal is to begin working out 3x per week and progressing to 5x per week. I'm also looking for any good books & recipes you might know of.

Why do you need those shakes? Can't you get the required nutrients from real foods? Choose vegan foods higher in protein or think about a protein supplement.
