I'm new here and Ive read people's advice that its not a good idea to be losing weight and trying to get muscles at the same time..the thing is, I dont know how much I have to weight before working out. I am 5'5, 130 pounds and am 19 years old, so, am I ready to start working out to see some muscles??Thank you.

you sound plenty light enough to start bulking. Your stats suggest a comfortable level to start packing on the pounds. My suggesting is to bulk. Eat clean to keep the fat gain to a minimum, and try a full-body 3 days a week focusing on big compound lifts.

wow, thanks..I wasn't sure If I was ready for it. One more thing. I want to work on abs, biceps, triceps and chest and legs, how can I do all these in one hour..maybe the question should be...how many minutes should be for each section and should I take a brake in between???

Thanks again

trying to find the ideal routine can be tricky, and can cause pages of arguments in this forum ;) You just want to try to do 1 exercise for each group. Some good compound exercises are

Deadlift, Benchpress, Squats, Rows, Pull-ups.

If you want you can throw some isolation exercises in there at then end, but they arent necessary.

To figure out how many calories you should be taking in, find an online calories calculator and figure out your maintence level. Add about 20% to that. Just make sure you keep the diet clean to minimize gaining of fat.
