Weight-Loss

im starting a diet and i want expert advice.
im a 21yr old male student, 5' 9" 302lbs
and if what the internet tells me is true my bmr is 2680.96 so i should be eating 3217.15 if i wanted to maintain but since i dont i should be eating 500-1000 cals less is that correct? that still seems like allot.

either way i want to figure out quick, simple meals that are affordable.
i know that might be to much to ask but, i realize im lazy so the simpler it is the more likely i am to stick with it.

thanks for any help suggestions or advice :)

my advice on simple cooking:
cooking protein is as easy as salt & pepper, throw it in a hot pan with some olive oil. you don't have to have fancy sauces or anything. start there and learn it well. there are plenty of videos online to help you out.
learn to cook rice. it's cheap and pairs well with the protein. once you do it 2 or 3 times you'll never have to think about it again.
finally, most veggies can be cooked the same way as the protein - salt & pepper, olive oil. pick a few veggies and learn to cook them.
start there and you've got a different meal every night. look for basic recipes, if you start complicating things, you won't stick with it.

i forgot to say that my advice would be not to worry about calories, but worry more about cooking for yourself. if every meal you ate was one you made using simple healthy ingredients, i guarantee you'd lose weight. to really speed things up, add some tough exercise. you said you're lazy, but that's what got you to where you are. time to stop being lazy, time to start taking care of yourself. you can't be fed up with your weight on one hand and accept your laziness on another.
