Want to start our own modified cross-fit?

Any other women out there who want to work hard, not extreme? I'm having a hard time keeping motivated as I end up lifting and exercising by myself most of the time. I'm 49 and want to keep challenging myself. I've been doing crossfit workouts but my gym (very rural) doesn't have some of the equipment and I have to modify quite a bit. Can we come up with our own routines?
Today the workout for CF was 5 rounds of; sumo deadlifts high pull, #65, 21 reps and 7 muscle-ups. Now, we don't have rings at my gym so I ended up just doing the 5 x 21 deadlifts...all by myself. Boring, and as a lady, not quite what I'd like to be doing. Any suggestions?
I'd love to do drills, cardio, weight training...
