Sport Want to minimize a 5 day problem.

Sport Fitness
Alright, tomorrow and until friday I'm going to canada and I'm staying at a hotel with the family so we can go to Niagra falls (and on the way back Cooperstown ) but we're going to be eating out at restaurants every day. I won't be able to eat my regular foods because of this (i.e. egg whites, chicken breasts, protein shakes) so what kind of foods should I focus on ordering to minimize this problem?

just try as best as you can...if your food isn't that good just try and be more active or do a bodyweight program each day to at least maintain where you are

order lots of chicken, dressing and sauce/gravy on the side, steamed veggies for your side dish, iced tea and water instead of soda.

but do remember, this IS a vacation, so you can enjoy yourself in moderation.

IN MODERATION.

dont look at it as a vacation that will bring you losses, but as a gaining oppertunity. Often, every 4-8 weeks of intese weight training, people are taking whole weeks off from training in order to let their results "settle in". This prevents plateuing and will give your body time to recover FULLY. I recommend working out the day before the vacation so u can relax the whole week. Like the thread above said, eat a lot of chicken and veggies. :D

Pack stuff ahead of time if possible as well, even just some whey and a bottle would be easy.

Niagara Falls is pretty sweet btw, if you've never been. It's much better from the Canadian side too.

Yeah dude, it was really cool. I got an adventure pass for it and did the Maid of the Mist right next to the falls/Journey Behind the Falls/White Water Walk near the rapids, and aerocar on the cables over the whirlpools/rapids. And to top it off, I went on the world largest rollercoaster (Dragon Mountain) at Marineland right by Niagara falls. It was sweet :D

And back to nutrition, I got most of my meals to consist of chicken breasts or steak with water. In the morning I'd get scrambled eggs (Only kind available) some wheat bread and jam, and sometimes some bacon. I did TONS of walking around Niagara each day I was there, and I got to continue my weight lifting routine because the hotel I was staying at (The Radison) had a weight room, and best thing is no one ever used it when I wanted to. So, all in all, I believe there were very minimal losses, thanks everyone.
