Want to get cut, need help on diet and workout plan.

Alright so I am 21 6'3 185lbs and I want to try and get cut. I don't want a lot of muscle I just want to get some muscle tone, mainly my arms chest and abs.

I work a lot average 10-12 hrs a day. I do a lot of moving around at work. So when I am done I don't have a lot of time/energy to do a big workout or go to the gym. So I was thinking of something like pushups, crunches/situps, pullups.

The thing I really need help on is the diet.. I've been reading that the diet is everything. And w/o that the workout is kind of wasted time.. Pretty much my diet is the good ol 'Can I have the #x' So I could really use some help on putting a diet plan together for what I want to achieve. If it would be possible to be pretty descriptive on like what type of items and all that. I have been reading around forums and other sites for a diet guide and a lot say "X about of carbs, fats, protine" and I am pretty new to all this stuff so I am not sure what is good for what.

So if anyone would be able to help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Exercises should be easy to point out because you've clearly stated the restrictions. Running is in, simple bodyweight exercises are in, and if you can get a sledgehammer that's definately in.

From right off the bat, I'd say a 3000 calorie diet may be a minimum for you, afterall you say you move around a lot in that 12 hour day. 250g of protein, 250g of carbohydrate, and 125g fat (you can play around with fat and adjust the other two accordingly, but you'll need at least 50g for proper neural functioning). As far as food goes, no one can help you there. Go to the grocery store and start reading labels.
